Metrics for success in academia
As a follow up to our previous discussions on Impact Factor and other means of measuring a scientist's productivity, please read Every attempt to manage academia makes it worse. We'll discuss it in our April 13 class.

Use github issues to guide which tasks need completion. Adjust assignment list if needed- provide students an opportunity to voice issues they’re struggling with, because their classmates may volunteer to help.
